Happy Monday!
I hope you have a fantastic day!
Today I'm sharing my project for Week 12 – Window as part of the Mintay Papers Challenge — #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek.
For this week's theme, I created a beautiful dimensional window card using kraft cardstock and the gorgeous 'Rust & Rose' collection from Mintay Papers.
I started by creating an arched window on the front of the card using a circle cutting die. I then decorated the card with background elements, paper stickers and die-cuts from the 'Rust & Rose' collection.
To create even more dimension, I used the “Cathedral of Colour Vol. 2” cutting die set from 'In the Studio' to create five decorative panels—one for the front of the card and four on the inside. When the card is opened, the layered panels create a beautiful dimensional scene.
I love how the combination of kraft cardstock, the arched window, layered panels and beautiful floral elements transforms a relatively simple card base into something really special.
This design can be adapted to different card sizes, colours and paper collections, so I hope it inspires you to experiment with your own window cards and dimensional designs.
Have you ever made a window card? What would you put behind your window? ๐ช๐ธ
Happy crafting! ✂️
