3D embossed cards with vibrant colours

Today, I have three colourful cards, I used 3D embossing folders from Crafter's Companion: 'Textured Swirls', 'Indian Summer' and 'Butterfly Trellis'. The flower layered dies come from Altenew, they were a free gift with one of the cardmaking magazine.

3D embossing cards: birthday and nameday cards

Today,  I have three using 3D embossing folders from Crafter's Companion: English Rose, Seamless Wave and Venetian Lace. I used ink blending technique to add colours to the panels and use nesting dies from Crafter's Companion for the focal element on the cards.

The 3D flowers were super easy and quick to make.

Coloured heart with embossed white backgrounds

I need to confess. I really struggle with monochromatic cards and the technique I call 'less is more', therefore, I challenged myself to create these cards using only embossing folders, one die set and one stamp. I heat embossed the heart and coloured them using Spectrum Noir Aqua markers. Here are the embossing I used from Crafter's Companion: Brocade, Venetian Lace and Seamless Wave.

What do you think? I'm still not convinced ...

I used Concord and 9th 'Wonderful florals' stamp set and my scraps of paper to create rainbows.

It was a lot of fun :) I really recommend this technique :)

Today, I decided to use some of my 3D embossing folders from Crafter's Companion and stamps from one of the Crafter's Inspiration magazine. The 3D folders: Indian Summer and Floral Fusion are absolutely stunning and give so much dimension.

Nothing soothes the soul like a walk on the beach

I'm looking forward to summer and still have to wait a few weeks so decided to work on some seaside cards. 

I made this card using 'By the seaside' stamp set from Creative Stamping magazine issue 72. For the background panel, I heat embossed the shells and starfish and then used ink blending to achieve sort of a sand texture. For the focal panel I stamped the images using StazOn ink and Spectrum Noir glitter inks to add the colours.
