Basket weave knitted winter set

I finally managed to finish knitting my scarf and guess what! it's spring and it's super warm ... it means that my winter set has to wait until some colder days, but I don't really mind ;)
I made it and it's ready to go :)

Knitted gift for my Mum

Recently, I've started knitting and decided I could make a knitted gift for my Mum, so why not a hat and a scarf? Here is the result. I have to admit that I'm pretty proud of myself as I'm new to knitting :)

New year = new skill

Hello! :)

At the beginning of this year I decided to learn a new skill. One day, when I was walking from my work I saw this magazine at the corner shop and that's how my new adventure's begun. I have to admit that my first attempts were not really successful but I didn't give up and this year challenge is to knit a blanket! I know very challenging but come on I've got a whole year :)
