Polish folk art and symmetry

Today, it's my first day of summer holidays and guess how I spent it :D

Making cards with Polish folk art flowers :D

I used cutting dies from Altenew 'Wycinanki' and sentiment dies from my stash.

As you know I'm a huge fan of Polish folk art and Łowicki patterns which inspired me to create this set of cards.

Coloured heart with embossed white backgrounds

I need to confess. I really struggle with monochromatic cards and the technique I call 'less is more', therefore, I challenged myself to create these cards using only embossing folders, one die set and one stamp. I heat embossed the heart and coloured them using Spectrum Noir Aqua markers. Here are the embossing I used from Crafter's Companion: Brocade, Venetian Lace and Seamless Wave.

What do you think? I'm still not convinced ...

I used Concord and 9th 'Wonderful florals' stamp set and my scraps of paper to create rainbows.

It was a lot of fun :) I really recommend this technique :)

Today I have a Best Wishes card with some beautiful stamps from Hot Off the Press. I absolutely adore these lace stamps, they are so intricate and beautiful. I used heat embossing technique to make the lace stand out.

Altenew 3D peony best wishes cards

Today, I have for you a set of two cards with Altenew 3D peony die, I used Brusho crystals to create these blue and purple colours and I absolutely love how the flowers turned out.
