Under the sea

Happy Monday!

Have you ever thought of going on an adventure on Nautilus (Captain Nemo's submarine)? When I was reading '20 000 Leagues Under the Sea' I wanted to see all amazing sea creatures and explore the seas and oceans.
I drew this picture using silky crayons, they blend really nicely and you can mix the colours easily.

Giant octopus from '20 000 Leagues of Under the Sea'

Happy Sunday!

I love books and Captain Nemo was my favourite book character when I was a kid. I loved all his adventures and one of the best ones was meeting giant sea creatures, so I used silky crayons and drew this giant octopus.

20 000 leagues under the sea drawings

Happy Saturday!

I hope you have an amazing weekend :)

Today, I woke up and thought about one of my favourite books from childhood '20 000 Leagues Under the Sea' by Jules Verne. I'm going to read it again (to be honest I've already read it a couple of times) and explore seas with Captain Nemo.
I took up a challenge and used silky crayons (for the first time) to create these drawings. The second drawing is the first exploration of the bottom of the sea :)

What's your favourite book from childhood?

Flower tuxedo card

Happy Friday!
I hope you have an amazing day :)
I love trying new things, today I had a go at flower tuxedo card and I have to admit that I am very pleased with the result. I used design papers and elements from the cover gift from Papercraft Essentials issue 176. The best part is that the card folds flat so it can be sent in a normal envelop.

Warm Thank You

Happy Wednesday!
I hope you have a wonderful week :)
I like to experiment with a range of materials so for this card I used photo card and alcohol markers. I tried to use warm colours because the person the card was for is totally warm person who always shares positive vibes.
What do you think of this monochromatic look?

Tower Bridge at Sunrise

Happy Saturday!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend :)

Here is my third dotted painting in the series 'Tower Bridge at Sunrise'. This landmark in London has a special place in my heart for a few reasons. One of them, there is very nice view from the bridge and you can capture beautiful sunsets. The most important one, it is the place where I got a beautiful flower from my husband when we went there together for the first time :)

What's your favourite landmark that brings many positive memories?

Dotted Chameleon

Happy Friday!

I hope you are feeling fantastic!

Here is 'The Chameleon', I really like how it turned out with all the colours of the rainbow. This painting took me 20 hours and it is A4 size, but it was worth spending that time making dots.

Have a great day and happy crafting!

Retirement card

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you have a fantastic week.
Here is a retirement card for my mum's colleague who loves mountains. I painted one of the most famous places in Poland called 'Morskie Oko' which is the largest and fourth deepest lake in the Tatra Mountains, it is located deep within the Tatra National Park. I tried to make this retirement card very unique just for him as retirement is just thee beginning and full of new opportunities.
