📐 ONE CARD SKETCH, A WHOLE NEW PROJECT! 👮‍♂️ 12×12 Masculine Scrapbook Page

Welcome to the FINAL project of #EasyMasculineMakes! 🎉 

For Project 8, I decided to do something a little different… 

Instead of making another card, I created a 12×12 inch masculine scrapbook page featuring a police officer theme! 👮‍♂️ 

And the starting point for this project was a card sketch created by my wonderful crafty friend Monika – PaperMona! 📐💙 ‪@MonikaWeclewskaakapaperMona‬ I loved her sketch so much that I decided to see what would happen if I adapted it into a completely different type of project. I made a few changes to the original sketch to suit a 12×12 scrapbook layout and transformed the design into a police officer-themed page. 

This is such a great reminder that a card sketch doesn't have to be used only for cards! You can take the basic layout, change the proportions, add or remove elements and turn it into something completely different. ✂️✨ 👮‍♂️

DIY Heart-Shaped Card with Cricut | Mintay Papers Baby Safari | From the Heart Challenge

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 22 – From the Heart as part of the #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek. 

For this week's theme, I created a heart-shaped birthday card for a very special little girl celebrating her third birthday. Using my Cricut machine, I designed and cut the heart-shaped card base before decorating it with the adorable 'Baby Safari' collection from ‪@mintaypapers‬ . 

I chose a soft combination of cream and teal cardstock, allowing the sweet safari animals to become the stars of the design. To make the card even more personal, I added a Happy Birthday chipboard together with the recipient's name, creating a keepsake that was made especially for her. 

One of my favourite things about shaped cards is that they instantly feel extra special.

🥇 RUN TO THE FINISH LINE! 🏃‍♂️ 3D Pop-Up Sports Card | #EasyMasculineMakes

Welcome to Project 7 – SPORT from #EasyMasculineMakes! 🏃‍♂️🏆

Today we're making a 5x7 inch masculine sports card with a fun interactive scene inside — and the best part is that you don't need any patterned paper to create it! 🎨✂️

For the inside of the card, I hand-drew a curvy, serpentine running track that travels from the top of the card all the way down to the finish line, with grass alongside the road.

Then I added a runner from my FREE PDF and created a 3D pop-up podium with a trophy at the finish line. 🏃‍♂️🥇🏆

It creates a fun sense of movement and dimension when the card is opened!

For the front of the card, I used my FREE Paper Designs for Masculine Makes, together with a sentiment from my collection. 💙

So in this project you'll see how you can create a masculine card using:

Inspired by Lavender 💜 | 5x7 Card with a Hidden Envelope | Mintay Papers Week 21

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 21 – Inspired by a Smell. 

This week's prompt made me think of one of my favourite fragrances—lavender—so I reached for the beautiful 'Lavender Dream' collection from Mintay Papers. 💜🌿

I created a 5x7 inch handmade card, but this card has a little surprise... 💜 There's an envelope on the FRONT of the card! I created a white envelope using the Ultimate Pro from Crafter's Companion and then adhered it to the front of the card, turning the envelope into part of the card design. I coloured the edges of the envelope using 'Villainous Potion' and 'Dusty Concord' Distress Oxide inks and decorated it with fussy-cut elements from the 'Lavender Dream' collection. 

I love how this idea transforms a simple envelope into an important part of the card itself!

This is my interpretation of the “Inspired by a Smell” challenge prompt, using lavender as the inspiration for both the colours and the beautiful floral design. CREATE 3 LEVELS OF DIMENSION! 🌲🏕️ 6×6 Pop Up Adventure Card | #EasyMasculineMakes

Welcome to another project in #EasyMasculineMakes! 💙

Today I'm creating a 6×6 inch Adventure Pop Up Card using the FREE background papers and fussy-cut elements that I created especially for this project. The information is in the video description. 

This card has a lovely vintage masculine colour palette and an adventurous camping theme, with a forest, tent and campfire creating a beautiful scene inside the card. 🌲⛺🔥

But there are a couple of techniques in this project that I particularly wanted to share with you!

✨ No matching cardstock? No problem!

I'll show you how you can add colour to your cardstock when you don't have a sheet that matches your project perfectly.

And inside the card, I'll show you how to create THREE LEVELS OF POP-UP DIMENSION, then build the scene by adding layers of fussy-cut forest trees, a tent and a campfire.

The result is a little 3D adventure scene that comes to life when the card is opened! 🌲🏕️✨

Postcard from Paradise! | Easy Postage Stamp Shaped Card | Mintay Papers Week 20

Welcome back to another project for the Mintay Papers Challenge!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 20 – Postcard from... and this one is a super quick 5-minute cardmaking tutorial! 📮🌊

For this challenge, I decided to create a card in the shape of a postage stamp using an SVG file from Creative Fabrica.

The card is a top-folding design and fits perfectly into a 5x7 inch envelope, making it practical as well as fun to create.

For the decoration, I used the beautiful 'Riviera Moments' collection from Mintay Papers, including a coloured chipboard piece with a sentiment from the collection.

But I couldn't resist adding one more little detail! 😊

I created another stamp-shaped element featuring a boat from the 'Riviera Moments' collection and placed it in the top-right corner of the card so it looks just like a real postage stamp. 🚢

I love how these little details help turn an ordinary card into a fun postcard-inspired handmade card.

And because this tutorial is only around 5 minutes long, it's a quick and easy project that you can recreate and adapt to your own favourite paper collection.

I hope this project inspires you to look at postage stamps, postcards and everyday objects in a completely different way when creating your handmade cards!
