Easy Slanted Fancy Fold Card Tutorial | 5x7 Masculine Card | #FFCchallenge2023

Today I'm sharing another project for the #FFCchallenge2023, hosted by my lovely crafty friend Monika from PaperMona! ✂️💕

For this project, I've created a 5x7 inch horizontal Slanted Fancy Fold Card — a fun fold that gives a simple card a really interesting shape and lots of dimension.

For the decoration, I used papers from the Mixed Patterns collection and some fabulous classic cars from the 'Men's World' collection by ScrapBoys.

I love how the vintage cars work with this fancy fold — they give the card a fantastic masculine and slightly retro feel. 🚗✨

Pumpkin Shaped Card 🎃 | Die-Cuts, Stickers & Stencil | Mintay Papers Bingo

For my card, I used the beautiful 'Rust & Rose' collection from Mintay Papers, including the matching die-cuts and stickers from the collection.

I used kraft cardstock to create the card base and then used a stencil with gold metallic paint to add a beautiful decorative element and a little touch of shine. ✨

I love how the three Bingo elements work together without making the card too complicated. The pumpkin shape gives the card a fun seasonal feel, while the 'Rust & Rose' papers and gold details add a more elegant vintage touch.

This is another example of how a few simple supplies can be combined to create a completely different card.

And, of course, the Bingo challenge gave me the perfect excuse to step outside my usual card designs and try something a little different! 😊

I Created a Glamorous 18th Birthday Card Inspired by Her Invitation 🎀✨

Today I'm creating a special 18th birthday card for my niece, and this one was inspired by the beautiful invitation she sent me! 🎂✨

I wanted the card to match the elegant and glamorous feel of the invitation, so I used a gorgeous combination of black, pink and gold.

For the papers and embellishments, I used the beautiful Morning Summer collection by Altair Art, adding layers and details to create this large 8 x 8 inch birthday card.

And of course, I couldn't resist adding one final little touch… 🦋💕 A pretty pink butterfly in the corner to finish everything off!

Arch Mechanism Pop Up Card | Beautiful Butterfly Card Tutorial | #ButterflyCraftFest

Hello my crafty friends! 💜

Welcome to the final project of #ButterflyCraftFest! 🦋🎉

For my last project in this beautiful butterfly collaboration, I created a 6×6 inch Pop Up Card featuring an arch mechanism that creates a beautiful dimensional display when the card is opened.

I decorated the pop-up mechanism with my very own Mini Butterflies, which you can collect during #ButterflyCraftFest, and used the gorgeous Lavender Mood collection from Craft O'Clock to create the soft purple and romantic feel of the card.

I love how the butterflies appear to float across the arch when the card is opened, creating a lovely 3D effect while the card still folds flat for easy storage.

This project is a wonderful example of how a simple mechanism can completely transform a handmade card and give it that special WOW! moment when the recipient opens it. ✨

Throughout #ButterflyCraftFest, we've been celebrating butterflies and sharing different butterfly-inspired projects, and I'm so happy to finish the challenge with a pop-up card!

50 & STILL EXPLORING! 🌊 | Eclipse Technique 50th Birthday Card | Mintay Papers

Hello my crafty friends! 

Today I'm sharing a very special 50th birthday card I created for a lady who absolutely loves travelling and the sea. 🌊✈️ 

For this project, I used the beautiful 'Riviera Moments' collection from @mintaypapers to create an 8×8 inch handmade birthday card filled with seaside and travel details. But the main feature of this card is the number 50! 🎂 

I used the Eclipse Technique to create the large numbers and make the beautiful seaside background continue through the 50. Instead of simply placing the numbers on top of the paper, I wanted them to become part of the scene. I added layers of blue, gold and white around the numbers to make them stand out while still allowing the ocean scene to flow through them. 

To personalise the card even further, I added the recipient's name and embellished the design with beautiful elements from the 'Riviera Moments' collection, including a seahorse, anchor, seagull, shells, camera and lighthouse. 

I love how the whole card reflects her love of the sea, travel and adventure. 💙🌊 And because every card has a reason to exist, this one was designed specifically with the birthday girl in mind. 💕
