Postcard from Paradise! | Easy Postage Stamp Shaped Card | Mintay Papers Week 20

Welcome back to another project for the Mintay Papers Challenge!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 20 – Postcard from... and this one is a super quick 5-minute cardmaking tutorial! 📮🌊

For this challenge, I decided to create a card in the shape of a postage stamp using an SVG file from Creative Fabrica.

The card is a top-folding design and fits perfectly into a 5x7 inch envelope, making it practical as well as fun to create.

For the decoration, I used the beautiful 'Riviera Moments' collection from Mintay Papers, including a coloured chipboard piece with a sentiment from the collection.

But I couldn't resist adding one more little detail! 😊

I created another stamp-shaped element featuring a boat from the 'Riviera Moments' collection and placed it in the top-right corner of the card so it looks just like a real postage stamp. 🚢

I love how these little details help turn an ordinary card into a fun postcard-inspired handmade card.

And because this tutorial is only around 5 minutes long, it's a quick and easy project that you can recreate and adapt to your own favourite paper collection.

I hope this project inspires you to look at postage stamps, postcards and everyday objects in a completely different way when creating your handmade cards!

This elegant 6x6 inch handmade card combines soft colours, beautiful floral details, gold accents and a delicate cross to create a special card for such an important occasion.

✨ A Floating 18th Birthday Card! | Elegant Floating Fancy Fold | Mintay Papers Week 19

Welcome back to another project for the Mintay Papers Challenge!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 19 – Floating... and this one is extra special because I created it as an 18th birthday card for a very special girl! 💕🎂

For this challenge, I created a 7×7 inch Floating Fancy Fold Card featuring a beautiful oval floating element, which I created using nesting cutting dies.

For the papers and decoration, I used the gorgeous 'Cottage Heart' collection from Mintay Papers and added gold cardstock to create elegant frames around the layers.

Because this card was made especially for an 18th birthday, I wanted to make it truly personal.

✨ I created the recipient's name in gold cardstock using an alphabet cutting die set.

✨ I used my Cricut Maker 3 to create the large number 18.

✨ I also fussy cut elements from the 'Cottage Heart' collection and used them to embellish the card.

✨ Finally, I added gold pearls to the corners for a little extra elegance and sparkle.

I love how the floating mechanism gives the card a beautiful dimensional effect while still allowing it to fold flat.

18 is the beginning of a whole new chapter, so I wanted the card to feel just as special as the occasion.

10 MINUTE MASCULINE CARD! 🔥 Create Your Own Background | #EasyMasculineMakes

Today I'm sharing another super quick masculine card, and this one takes around 10 minutes to make! ⏰

For this project I created a 4×8 inch card and decided to make my own background from scratch rather than using patterned paper.

I used layered stencils from ScrapKate together with Distress Oxide inks to create a unique masculine background. 🎨

Then I added some fantastic fussy-cut elements from the “Men's World” collection by Scrap Boys and finished the card with a sentiment from my FREE Printable Sentiment Library. ✂️💙

Our goal is to show that masculine cards don't have to be complicated or take hours to make!

For Project 3, I decided to create something a little different — a 6x6 inch trophy-shaped card made WITHOUT using any cutting dies! ✂️🏆

I created my own trophy template and used it to make the shaped card base. For the front of the card, I used beautiful gold cardstock to give it that special trophy look. ✨

The best part? You don't need any fancy dies to create this card! You can make your own template and create a fun and impressive masculine card with simple crafting supplies.
