Happy Saturday!
I hope you have a fabulous day!
Welcome back to another project for the Mintay Papers Challenge!
Today I'm sharing my project for Week 20 – Postcard from... and this one is a super quick 5-minute cardmaking tutorial! ๐ฎ๐
For this challenge, I decided to create a card in the shape of a postage stamp using an SVG file from Creative Fabrica.
The card is a top-folding design and fits perfectly into a 5x7 inch envelope, making it practical as well as fun to create.
For the decoration, I used the beautiful 'Riviera Moments' collection from Mintay Papers, including a coloured chipboard piece with a sentiment from the collection.
But I couldn't resist adding one more little detail! ๐
I created another stamp-shaped element featuring a boat from the 'Riviera Moments' collection and placed it in the top-right corner of the card so it looks just like a real postage stamp. ๐ข
I love how these little details help turn an ordinary card into a fun postcard-inspired handmade card.
And because this tutorial is only around 5 minutes long, it's a quick and easy project that you can recreate and adapt to your own favourite paper collection.
I hope this project inspires you to look at postage stamps, postcards and everyday objects in a completely different way when creating your handmade cards!
Where would your handmade postcard be from? ๐✈️
Happy crafting!
