Welcome to Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas in July 2026 collaboration hosted by Monika (PaperMona), with Katarina joining in the festive fun!

Today's theme is Shaped Card, and since July is also Watercolour Month, I decided to combine both by creating a handmade Christmas mug-shaped card using watercolour techniques.

My inspiration came from a beautiful ceramic mug I bought in Bolesławiec, Poland, a town famous for its traditional hand-decorated pottery. I loved the cozy shape and classic design, so I transformed that inspiration into a festive Christmas card perfect for the holiday season.

Special Birthday card for a Teenager

Today, I have this beautiful personlised birthday card for a teenager with inked background ( I used Spectrum Noirr opaque inks) and hand drawn and fussy cut silhouette on a boat. I used gold metallic watercolour paint for extra sparkle and shine.

Sunshine and smile - rainbow cards

Aqua pens and subscription box 8

Today, I was inspired by Sara Davies from Crafter's Companion and took my Aqua pens from Spectrum Noir and stamps from Subscription Box 8 and just had fun :)

I love how the colours blend, I only used Primary Set - Aqua Pens and a little bit of water to create new colours, especially the purple (Teal and Navy + Magenta).

Hello everyone, I hope you have a fantastic week!

I enjoy experimenting with different materials, and it was a lot of fun to colour in this card. I used masking technique and stamping platform to arrange images on this card and then I used ZIG markers and watercolour pencils to colour in the card. I really like different textures and blending of ZIG markers.

Watercolour Sunflowers for a Nameday

This has been a wonderful week so far :) I hope you are well :)

A few weeks ago when I was on holiday, my aunt had her Nameday and the only thing I had was a set of 8 watercolour pens. So I decided to make a proper use of them and created these Sunflowers and the background panel. When I was working on this card, the weather was sunny and beautiful so I could paint in the garden.

Retirement card

Here is a retirement card for my mum's colleague who loves mountains. I painted one of the most famous places in Poland called 'Morskie Oko' which is the largest and fourth deepest lake in the Tatra Mountains, it is located deep within the Tatra National Park. I tried to make this retirement card very unique just for him as retirement is just thee beginning and full of new opportunities.

I love experimenting while making cards and when I started making this card I just has a colour scheme in my mind, then I took my Zig markers and started using them as watercolor paint and I absolutely love the effect I achieved on the background. I used Apple Blossom frame and butterfly dies to add extra interest.
