Special Birthday card for a Teenager

Today, I have this beautiful personlised birthday card for a teenager with inked background ( I used Spectrum Noirr opaque inks) and hand drawn and fussy cut silhouette on a boat. I used gold metallic watercolour paint for extra sparkle and shine.

Autumn Sunflower Cards

Today, I have 3 Sunflower cards using the craft magazine 'John Next Door - Autumn Special' issue 63.

I used a variety of techniques including ink blending, embossing on acetate and making a shaker card.

Butterfly spinner card

Today I have a special nameday card with a spinning butterfly.

I heat embossed the swirls and used ink blending technique to add the green and yellow colours to the background. I die cut all the letters using Tonic Studios 'Cirrous' Simple types from gold mirror card. The butterfly stamp comes from Card Making Magic stamp set. I used black embossing powder and coloured the butterfly with ZIG markers. I just had to add these tiny gold gems around the butterfly and on the side of the card.

I decided to start a series called 'Rediscover my stash' and looking through my craft stash I came across this beautiful stamp set from one of the magazines which was released in 2016.

Today, I have 3 cards for you using one stamp set to create a stained glass window effect.

Torn edge rectange frames

Today, I decided to make some birthday and nameday cards for my family. 

I used 2 embossing folders: Brocade and 3D Seamless Wave by Crafter's Companion. I created the flowers using an ombre paper pad that I received from an amazing cardmaker Paperfect Dublin, here is a link to her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Paperfect-Dublin-361592854713185/ and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/paperfectdublin/, she is a very talented cardmaker and I am so happy to see her beautiful creations.

I also used Distress Oxides to add colour to the background and I created the frame using 'Torn Edge Rectangle' nesting dies by Crafter's Companion.

I could not decide on the colour scheme so I made three cards :D

Nothing soothes the soul like a walk on the beach

I'm looking forward to summer and still have to wait a few weeks so decided to work on some seaside cards. 

I made this card using 'By the seaside' stamp set from Creative Stamping magazine issue 72. For the background panel, I heat embossed the shells and starfish and then used ink blending to achieve sort of a sand texture. For the focal panel I stamped the images using StazOn ink and Spectrum Noir glitter inks to add the colours.

Starry Night and Christmas tree

New week equals new opportunities and challenges. Christmas is closer and closer and I can definitely feel it in the air.

I used ink blending technique to create the blue background and stamped silver stars for extra sparkle, I also used some papers from Hunkydory crafts and my favourite silver gems.

It's Diwali today and I made two cards for an amazing couple and a colleague. I used a stencil and ink blending technique to add colours to the panels.

Today we have a beautiful morning, but I thought of giving it some extra colours and made this birthday card wih rainbow colours using ink blending technique. I used Create-a-card cutting die from Crafter's Companion and I love it so much! (more cards to come :D )
