What a great beginning of the week. The weather makes you want to stay at home and create handmade cards. I use every opportunity to use my new cutting dies 'Wycinanki' from Altenew and to make special cards. What do you think of this birthday card?

As you noticed I absolutely love Polish folklore and I made more cards with Polish folklore flowers, here is a birthday card. I used cutting dies called 'Wycinanki' from Altenew.

I used masking technique to create this card and it was much quicker than I had thought. I used distress oxides to create the background and alcohol markers to colour in the flowers.

Today is National Cardmaking Day and it's also a perfect day to appreciate special people around you and say Thank You.

I used scraps to create the background and stamped butterflies with brown archival ink. I really like the autumn vibes with my favourite butterflies.

What a great day to tell someone how wonderful they are :) 

I used Concord and 9th stamp set and coloured in the image with alcohol and watercolour markers. I could not resist to use autumn colours :)

I really like to experiment with colours and a set of alcohol markers is just perfect to colour in all the flower pieces and to put them together. The cutting dies 'Wycinanki' from Altenew are perfect to create unique Polish folklore flowers and to have fun with assembling them on the card.
