Today, I have a super cool birthday card. I was asked to create a card for a fan of Green Lantern and I couldn't resist to make this personalised shaped card.
I created my own template using kraft card and then I traced the outline onto white card three times, coloured in one of them using alcohol markers and assembled all the pieces together. To add a little bit of interest I used gold card for the top and a chipboard to the bottom of the card.
If you like shaped card, I really encourage you to create your own templates as these cards are super special.
Today, I have a super cool step rocker card with a new collection from Relatively Thoughtful called 'Easter Farm'. I used Template Library from Crafter's Companion to create the card base and mats and layers.
Today, I have a super easy fancy fold card for you, I called it: Side Pop Up Front Step Panel and it folds flat to 5 by 7 inches so you can easily put it in a flat envelope. To decorate my card, I used 'A Regency Romance' collection from Relatively Thoughtful and an embossing folder from Tattered Lace. This collection is just perfect for quick and beautiful cards. If you like florals and vintage style, this collection is for you.
Have you ever made a Pop Up Front Step Panel card?
Today, I have a super quick birthday card for you. I created this birthday card for my Godson who loves gaming and he has a special set of headphones, therefore I thought it would be a great idea to add them as the focal point. For all the panels on the card, I used 'Cinnamon Christmas' collection from Lexi Design (Polish brand), I think the colour pallet works great for a birthday card for a teenager.
I would like to encourage you to check what you have in your stash as sometimes the holiday collections could be used all year round.
Do you have any tips for making cards for teenagers?
Today, I have a layered, embossed Easter Card that I created using a cutting die set and embossing folder from Tattered Lace. I really like the dimension on the card and to add extra interest I used shimmer ink pads from Tattered lace on the embossed panels, I think it makes the card pop a little bit more.
Today, I have three Easter Shaker cards using my 'Colourful Easter' collection. For the shaker elements I used some sequins from my stash that I have for many years now and I like how they move inside these cards. I used a svg file from Creative Fabrica and I made a few adjustments to change the Easter egg into a shaker card.
