It's December already, only 4 weeks until Christmas!
Here is a Christmas card using story book die from Crafter's Companion to create a shaped card, I used the images from Papercraft Inspirations and I coloured the sky using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Ink.
When I think about Christmas I see blue and silver. Here is an art deco Christmas card using blues and gold (instead of silver) and I absolutely love this colour combo.
Today, I have two more Christmas cards with a robin and Christmas tree. The main colour is red which is perfect for vintage Christmas cards with a little bit of gold sparkle.
What a great week :) I hope that you enjoy the Autumn colours outside and that they inspire you to create something beautiful :)
Here is my last folk card in my new collection. I used a range of different colours for the flowers and I die cut a big sentiment so it really stands out, you can give this card for any occasion.
I can't really define just one colour so I used the combination of the colours I like the most. I used a sentiment 'Just for You' so this card can be given for any occasion and it is perfect for women and men.
Here is a Best Wishes card with five folk flowers, I used the cutting dies from Altenew, called 'Wycinanki'. I really like the contrast between the background colour and the sentiment.
Here is 'Just For You' card with Polish folk flowers on a black background, there is a little bit of symmetry but I used a range of flowers to create even more interesting effect.
Here is 'Just For You' card with Polish folk art flowers. I think the flowers stand out more on a black background. I used cutting dies from Altenew called 'Wycinanki' and a sentiment from my stash.
Today is the day to make a quick test for new ArtLiner by SpectrumNoir. I decided to make a simple drawing of a flower. The colours are called 'Bright' and the two blues are very similar, I used them for the centre of a flower and it is very difficult to see the deference between them. But overall, I really like the bright colours and how thin they are :)
Today, my order arrived from Crafter's Companion and I got a set of Spectrum Noir Classique alcohol markers (Purples), so I decided to test them strait away in my sketchbook and I drew an elephant with an ArtLiner 03 and coloured in with the markers, on top of that I used AquaBlend pencils (Vivid Hues).
Here is a birthday card, I die cut all the elements from coloured card, then I created the flowers using a variety of shapes to make them more interesting to the eye.
As you know I am a great fan of Polish folk art and I feel very pleased when I can use some of the folk art to create my handmade cards.
Here is a thank you card with some folk flowers to brighten up someone's day and show them that I really appreciate what they do. I chose some random flowers to create this design.
Here is a birthday card, I die cut the leaves (from Hot Off The Press) and then embossed them using rubber mat. I used gold watercolour marker to make small splashes on the black panel and I have to admit that I really like this effect :)
Here s my fourth Diwali card this year. I used ink blending technique and embossing folder, I also decorated the background with mandala stamps to create a matching border. I used gold watercolour marker to write the sentiment on the vellum.
Diwali is so colourful and cheerful celebration therefore I used warm and happy colours.
Today, I used ink blending technique to create the background panel and die cut gold leaves. Autumn is the most beautiful season due to its amazing colours and I tried to show them here. I also used gold watercolour and made some small splashes around the background panel.
Hello everyone! I hope you have an amazing start of the week.
Does anyone here enjoy die cutting as much as I do? I need to confess, I love making these flowers and colouring them, I decided to choose random colours for this card and a big sentiment.
On my way to work this morning I saw very interesting quote: 'Bad news - time flies! Good news - you are the pilot', it is so true. You are the only person who can use your time in a way that makes you happy. That's why I try to create something everyday :)
Here is my third card using this amazing stamp set with a bookcase and some extraordinary characters :) I hope you like this birthday card :)
I enjoy experimenting with different materials, and it was a lot of fun to colour in this card. I used masking technique and stamping platform to arrange images on this card and then I used ZIG markers and watercolour pencils to colour in the card. I really like different textures and blending of ZIG markers.
Hello all amazing people. Today I have another card featuring Polish folklore flowers on a black background. I like these three flowers, they are very similar but different and unique and that's exactly what I like about them. I used cutting dies from Altenew called ' Wycinanki' and I have to say that so far it is my favourite cutting die set ever.
Today, I made this birthday card inspired by my favourite colour combination: purple and green. I had to come out of my comfort zone and I put just one flower in the middle, but I totally love how it turned out. What do you think?
What a great day to take my Altenew cutting die and put some Polish folklore flowers together to make a card. I absolutely love this die set as you can create many different layouts and designs.
I hope you have a relaxing Saturday and you can spend some time with the people you love.
Today, I have a third Diwali card, I used 3D embossing folder, ink blending, alcohol markers and die cutting. I love the texture on this card and it is even more beautiful in real life.
For this Diwali card I used Crafters Companion 3D embossing folder and I die cut mandalas and the sentiment. I painted diya using sparkle pens from Spectrum Noir and it has a beautiful shine.
In a couple of weeks there will be Diwali, one of the most beautiful Hindu holidays. I made this Diwali card using heat embossing, die cutting and sparkle pens from Spectrum Noir. I like the way one of the mandalas sparkle, it is a shame that you can see it on the photo.
I hope you are great. Time flies and it's Wednesday already, I just can't believe it.
Here is a Best Wishes card using cutting dies 'Wycinanki' from Altenew. I tried not to have perfect symmetry here and I have to admit that I really like this design. What do you think?
What a great beginning of the week. The weather makes you want to stay at home and create handmade cards. I use every opportunity to use my new cutting dies 'Wycinanki' from Altenew and to make special cards. What do you think of this birthday card?
I hope you had an amazing weekend full of great ideas and makes.
As you noticed I absolutely love Polish folklore and I made more cards with Polish folklore flowers, here is a birthday card. I used cutting dies called 'Wycinanki' from Altenew.
I used masking technique to create this card and it was much quicker than I had thought. I used distress oxides to create the background and alcohol markers to colour in the flowers.
