🀎 Rustic Seaside Fancy Fold Card WITHOUT Dies! | Mintay Papers Week 24

Happy Tuesday!

Welcome back to another project for the Mintay Papers Challenge!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 24 – Rustic. 🀎

For this week's theme, I created a 5×7 inch fancy fold card with a rustic seaside feel—and the best part is that you don't need any cutting dies to make it!

I used kraft card as the base of the card and decorated it with the beautiful wooden background from the 'Riviera Moments' collection by Mintay Papers.

To bring the seaside theme to life, I also used elements from 'Azure Coast Elements' and 'Seashore Filigree' chipboards, adding texture and dimension to the design.

I love how the natural kraft card, wood-effect background and chipboard embellishments work together to create that relaxed, rustic feeling while still keeping the card elegant and detailed.

This fancy fold is also a great reminder that you don't need lots of specialised tools to create an interesting handmade card—sometimes cardstock, patterned paper and a few beautiful embellishments are all you need! ✂️🀎

If you enjoy Mintay Papers, fancy fold cards, masculine cardmaking, rustic cards, seaside cards and cardmaking without dies, I hope this project gives you some inspiration.

Do you enjoy making cards without cutting dies?

Happy crafting! πŸ’š✂️🌊

HOW DOES IT DO THAT?! πŸ‘€ Flip Flap Shutter Card | 2 Hidden Images | Fancy Fold Tutorial

Happy Monday!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Have you ever seen a card where the images seem to magically appear and disappear as you open it? πŸ‘€✨

Today I'm making an 8x8 inch Flip Flap Shutter Card for #FFCchallenge2023 hosted by ‪@MonikaWeclewskaakapaperMona‬ and I'm showing you my easy measurements so you can make this fancy fold without the usual confusion! The really fun part?

🀫 This card contains TWO hidden images, creating a beautiful illusion effect as the shutters move. It's one of those cards that makes you want to open it again and again!

For my card, I used the gorgeous 'Aurora' collection from Altair Art, with its beautiful combination of soft pinks, delicate florals and light grey tones. 🌸🩷

I hope you'll give this fancy fold a try and enjoy discovering how the mechanism works!

And remember... Every card has a reason to exist.
❤️ Happy crafting! ✂️🌸

✨ A Floating 18th Birthday Card! | Elegant Floating Fancy Fold | Mintay Papers Week 19

Happy Tuesday!

Welcome back to another project for the Mintay Papers Challenge!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 19 – Floating... and this one is extra special because I created it as an 18th birthday card for a very special girl! πŸ’•πŸŽ‚

For this challenge, I created a 7×7 inch Floating Fancy Fold Card featuring a beautiful oval floating element, which I created using nesting cutting dies.

For the papers and decoration, I used the gorgeous 'Cottage Heart' collection from Mintay Papers and added gold cardstock to create elegant frames around the layers.

Because this card was made especially for an 18th birthday, I wanted to make it truly personal.

✨ I created the recipient's name in gold cardstock using an alphabet cutting die set.

✨ I used my Cricut Maker 3 to create the large number 18.

✨ I also fussy cut elements from the 'Cottage Heart' collection and used them to embellish the card.

✨ Finally, I added gold pearls to the corners for a little extra elegance and sparkle.

I love how the floating mechanism gives the card a beautiful dimensional effect while still allowing it to fold flat.

18 is the beginning of a whole new chapter, so I wanted the card to feel just as special as the occasion.

If you enjoy Mintay Papers, fancy fold cards, floating cards, personalised handmade cards, shaped elements, fussy cutting and cardmaking tutorials, I hope this project inspires you to create your own version.

What would you put on a special 18th birthday card? ✨

Easy Slanted Fancy Fold Card Tutorial | 5x7 Masculine Card | #FFCchallenge2023

Happy Saturday!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Today I'm sharing another project for the #FFCchallenge2023, hosted by my lovely crafty friend Monika from PaperMona! ✂️πŸ’•

For this project, I've created a 5x7 inch horizontal Slanted Fancy Fold Card — a fun fold that gives a simple card a really interesting shape and lots of dimension.

For the decoration, I used papers from the Mixed Patterns collection and some fabulous classic cars from the 'Men's World' collection by ScrapBoys.

I love how the vintage cars work with this fancy fold — they give the card a fantastic masculine and slightly retro feel. πŸš—✨

Arch Mechanism Pop Up Card | Beautiful Butterfly Card Tutorial | #ButterflyCraftFest

Happy Saturday!

I hope you have an amazing day!

Hello my crafty friends! πŸ’œ

Welcome to the final project of #ButterflyCraftFest! πŸ¦‹πŸŽ‰

For my last project in this beautiful butterfly collaboration, I created a 6×6 inch Pop Up Card featuring an arch mechanism that creates a beautiful dimensional display when the card is opened.

I decorated the pop-up mechanism with my very own Mini Butterflies, which you can collect during #ButterflyCraftFest, and used the gorgeous Lavender Mood collection from Craft O'Clock to create the soft purple and romantic feel of the card.

I love how the butterflies appear to float across the arch when the card is opened, creating a lovely 3D effect while the card still folds flat for easy storage.

This project is a wonderful example of how a simple mechanism can completely transform a handmade card and give it that special WOW! moment when the recipient opens it. ✨

Throughout #ButterflyCraftFest, we've been celebrating butterflies and sharing different butterfly-inspired projects, and I'm so happy to finish the challenge with a pop-up card!

🦁 Personalised Baby Boy Rocker Card | Mintay Papers Baby Safari | Week 8: Circle Challenge

Happy Thursday!

I hope you have a fabulous day!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 8 – Circle as part of the #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek.

For this week's prompt, I created a personalised rocker card to celebrate the arrival of a beautiful baby boy. I used the adorable Baby Safari collection from Mintay Papers, featuring charming safari animals that are perfect for welcoming a little one.

The card was created using circle and scalloped circle nesting dies, resulting in a fun rocker design that stands beautifully on display. To make the card even more special, I personalised it with the baby's name and date of birth, creating a keepsake that his family can treasure for years to come.

One of the things I love most about rocker cards is how easy they are to customise. You can change the colours, papers, embellishments or sentiments to create a unique card for any occasion.

I hope this tutorial inspires you to create your own personalised baby cards and explore the wonderful Baby Safari collection from Mintay Papers.

If you enjoyed today's project, please give the video a thumbs up, subscribe to my channel, and let me know in the comments:
