🌺 Interactive Pop Out Card | Mintay Papers Tropical Summer | Week 5 Challenge Tutorial

Happy Friday!

I hope you have a fabulous day!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 5 – Interactive as part of the #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek.

For this week's theme, I created a Multiple Dimension Pop Out Card using the beautiful Tropical Summer collection from Mintay Papers. Hidden inside the card is an interactive mechanism that brings the design to life as the card opens, adding wonderful movement and dimension.

I chose a soft colour palette of pale yellow, pink and teal to perfectly complement the gorgeous Tropical Summer papers. To make the card even more meaningful, I personalised it with my cousin's name, as this card was created especially for her nameday.

The measurements are simple and easy to follow, making this interactive design suitable for anyone who would like to recreate it using their favourite paper collection.

This project was inspired by a beautiful card created by Marta Dębicka, whose creativity encouraged me to try this wonderful interactive mechanism and adapt it to my own style.

I hope this tutorial inspires you to create your own interactive cards full of movement, colour and dimension.

🤎 One Colour, Endless Creativity! | Side Panel Slider Fancy Fold | Mintay Papers Week 4

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you have a fabulous day!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 4 – One Colour Only as part of the #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek.

For this week's challenge, I created an interactive Side Panel Slider Fancy Fold Card measuring 4½ x 6 inches using kraft cardstock together with two beautiful Mintay Papers collections: Basic Book 10 and Autumn Book.

The interactive slider mechanism reveals hidden dimension, while inside the card there is a special space for a hidden personal message, making the design perfect for birthdays and other special occasions.

One of my favourite things about this fold is how easy it is to adapt. Simply change the papers, colours or sentiment to create your own unique version.

I hope this tutorial inspires you to try interactive fancy fold cards and discover how effective a monochromatic design can be.

🌊 No Flowers? No Problem! | Diagonal Flap Fancy Fold Card | Mintay Papers Week 3 Tutorial

Happy Monday!

I hope you have an amazing day.

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 3 – No Flowers as part of the #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek.

For this week's challenge, I created a Diagonal Flap Fancy Fold Card using the beautiful Riviera Moments collection from Mintay Papers. Instead of floral embellishments, I designed peaceful seaside scenes inspired by the coast, creating a fresh and elegant project that proves flowers aren't the only way to make a beautiful handmade card.

To finish the design, I added a delicate lacy lighthouse chipboard to the front of the card, giving it extra texture and a wonderful nautical feel.

One of my favourite things about this fold is how versatile it is. The measurements are easy to adapt, making it simple to recreate using your favourite papers and embellishments for any occasion.

I hope this tutorial inspires you to try a fancy fold card and explore different themes beyond florals.

🪵 3 Easy Ways to Add Texture to Handmade Cards | Mintay Papers Week 2 | Masculine Card Tutorial

Happy Saturday!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Today I'm sharing my project for Week 2 – Texture as part of the #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek.

For this week's theme, I created a masculine birthday card using the fantastic Birthday Man collection from Mintay Papers, together with a kraft cardstock base for a warm and classic look.

In this tutorial, I'll show you three simple ways to add texture to your handmade cards:

✨ Scoring board – creating elegant scored lines around the panels.

✨ Stencil and coloured texture paste – adding raised dimension and visual interest.

✨ Embossing folder with ink blending – enhancing embossed details to create even more depth.

By combining these techniques, you can transform a simple card into a project full of texture, dimension and character. Each technique is easy to recreate and can be adapted to suit any paper collection or occasion.

I hope this tutorial inspires you to experiment with different textures and add extra interest to your own handmade cards.

💜 Elegant Glamour Stepper Card | #MintayCardChallenge | Lavender Dream Elements

Happy Thursday!

I hope you have a fabulous day!

Today I'm excited to share my entry for Week 1 – Glamour as part of the #MintayCardChallenge and #MintayOneCardAWeek!

For this project, I created an elegant Stepper Card using the beautiful Lavender Dream Elements collection from Mintay Papers. To enhance the glamorous feel, I combined delicate lavender florals with gold mirror cardstock and white embossed cardstock, creating a design full of texture, shine and dimension.

I also enjoyed fussy cutting many of the floral elements to add depth and create a rich layered composition. Stepper cards are one of my favourite fancy folds because they stand beautifully for display while still folding flat for posting.

I hope this project inspires you to join the challenge or simply encourages you to create something elegant using your favourite Mintay Papers collection.

✨ FREE Printable Images + 2 Easy Card Sketches | Inspired by Polish Traditions

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you have an amazing day!

In today's tutorial, I'm sharing two handmade cards created from one simple card sketch—one in a square format and the other in a rectangular format. The best part? The beautiful illustrations I used are FREE and available from SuperPrintable on Facebook!

For these cards, I chose illustrations inspired by Polish culture and traditions. I paired them with red cardstock, elegant shiny floral paper, and layered panels to create clean, dimensional designs. The combination of red and white reminds me of the colours of the Polish flag, giving the cards a timeless and meaningful feel.

One of my favourite things about today's project is how versatile these sketches are. You can easily adjust the measurements, use different papers, or substitute the illustrations with any images that suit the occasion, making these layouts perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or everyday handmade cards.

If you enjoy easy-to-follow card sketches, printable images, and creative paper crafting ideas, I hope this tutorial inspires you to create your own version!

🌻 DIY Sunflower Vase Shaped Card | Handmade Birthday Card | Easy Paper Craft Tutorial

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you have a great day!

In today's tutorial, I'm sharing a handmade birthday card in the shape of a vase filled with bright sunflowers. I designed the shaped card base myself and filled it with layered paper sunflowers to create a cheerful bouquet that looks almost like the real thing.

This card was made especially for my aunt after she once told me how much she loved sunflowers. Seeing her smile when she opened it made every minute of crafting worthwhile, and that's exactly why I love creating handmade cards—they become personal gifts filled with love and happy memories.

If you're looking for a unique birthday card idea that is easy to personalise, I hope this tutorial inspires you to create your own sunflower bouquet card for someone special.

⭐ Day 12: Easy 3D Paper Christmas Star | DIY Tree Decoration | 12 Days of Christmas in July 2026

Happy Sunday!

Welcome to Day 12, the final day of the 12 Days of Christmas in July 2026 collaboration hosted by Monika (PaperMona), with Katarina joining in this festive creative journey!

To finish the series, I'm sharing a beautiful 3D paper Christmas star decoration that can be hung on your Christmas tree, used as festive home décor, or added to handmade gift wrapping.

This project is quick, beginner-friendly, and requires only five paper squares measuring 3 x 3 inches. After making a few simple folds and adhering the pieces together, you'll have an elegant dimensional Christmas star that looks beautiful in metallic cardstock but can easily be customised with your favourite festive papers.

💜Non-Traditional Christmas Card | DIY Pink & Purple Baubles | 12 Days of Christmas in July 2026

Happy Saturday!

I have you have a wonderful day!

Welcome to Day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas in July 2026 collaboration hosted by Monika (PaperMona), with Katarina joining in this festive creative journey!

Today's theme is Non-Traditional Colours, and I created a 5x7 inch handmade Christmas card featuring elegant pink, light purple and dark purple Christmas baubles. Instead of the classic red and green colour palette, I wanted to show that Christmas cards can be just as festive using modern, non-traditional colours.

To create the baubles, I used small nesting cutting dies and added decorative patterns with acrylic markers, making each ornament unique. One of the things I love about this design is how easy it is to customise—you can adjust the card measurements and use any nesting dies you already have in your craft room to create your own version.

Whether you're looking for fresh Christmas card ideas, modern festive colour combinations, or an easy bauble card tutorial, I hope this project inspires you to try something different this holiday season.
