NO DIES Inter Lock Double Concertina Card / Creative Stamping 120 / Frida Kahlo

Today, I have super fun fancy fold card called Inter Lock Double Concertina Card using a free gift from Creative Stamping Magazine issue 120. I absolutely love the 'Frida Kahlo' stamp set and I decided to challenge myself and try something new. Firstly, I wanted to create something artistic, Frida was a surrealist and my favourite art style is Impressionism so I tried to mix them together in this project. I used acrylic paints to create the backgrounds and some gold heat embossing to add extra sparkle.

It's Monika with a super cool birthday card. I like to experiment with fancy folds and I decided to use the best collection ever! 'The Darling Buds' to create this card. 

My friend's birthday is at the very beginning of Spring so I used 'The Daffodil' digi stamp and I coloured it in with my alcohol markers. I simply could not resist and I used the design papers from the 'Lavender Tea' collection (also one of my favourites!). If you like fancy folds and gatefold cards, this project is for you. Hi it's Monika and today I have quite an unusual project for me. 

I tried something out of my comfort zone and I have to admit that it was a lot of fun. Usually, my projects are very colourful and I play with composition, however today, I've got a clean and simple card for you. 

I used the most adorable digi Owl image 'Too Cute Owl Love' and I coloured it in with my alcohol markers. Did you know that Polkadoodles also have SVG files? I used one of them for the background, it is called 'Diamond Lattice' and it is perfect for clean and simple cards. To add a little bit of colour, I used the flowers from the 'Lavender Tea' collection. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out, it has so many amazing elements!

Today, I have quite an unusual gatefold card for you, it is called 'Pop Out Gatefold Card', I was inspired by Sam Calcott to create this card. In my video, you can check my step by step tutorial. For my project, I used 'Spring Awaiting' collection from Marta Debicka. 

As you know I love fancy fold cards, and as it is March and this month is dedicated to gatefold cards in Monika's (PaperMona) challenge #ffcchallenge2023 I decided to experiment with that fold a little bit more.

Bodice Gift Bag / Simply Cards & Papercraft 242

Today, I have something special and very unusual. In my tutorial, I'm showing you how to create a 3D Bodice Gift Bag using a svg file from CraftWorld and a free gift from Simply Cards & Papercraft issue 242 'Beautiful Blossoms'. In the magazine there is a photo tutorial how to put this bag together and when I saw it, I decided to try it straight away. To decorate the bag, I used the design paper from Marta Debicka and the free gift. It was a lot of fun to create the foam flowers to embellish the bag.

These cards are super quick to make and I'm confident they will put a big smile on the recipient's face.

Hi all crafters, it's Monika with a DL card using my totally favourite Digi stamp 'Tulip, the Darling Buds'. I coloured in the image using alcohol markers, I wanted to experiment with the colours and use a unique colour combo for Mother's Day. So I matched the coloured stamp with the design paper from the 'Lavender Tea' collection. I have to admit that the digi stamps from the Darling Buds are perfect for Mother's Day and any spring card so don't hesitate and check them out.

Yesterday, I went to Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) for Crafterama. An event for crafters where you can meet amazing crafters and buy some cool supplies. Today, I have a super shaped card for a grandpa using the amazing collection 'Grandma's Kitchen' from Lexi Design. It was so much fun to create a book shaped card with no cutting dies, I don't often use chipboards and MDFs but they are game changer! Now, I love them!

A friend of mine (PaperMona) started a new challenge this year and every month will be dedicated to a different card style, for March 2023 we have a gate fold card. There are four amazing crafters taking part in it, every month we will post a video with a different card style, April will be Dutch card. Today, I have 3 super quick cards in Art Deco style. I love this art style and I wanted to share with you some of the ideas I've had.

I used the best Art Deco collection from Relatively Thoughtful 'Art Deco 1920's style' and I challenged myself with just a few design papers, I think that really helps with trying something new.
